I love hydrogel bandages for road rash type injuries. Once you try one, you wont use anything else. Just make sure you get one that doesn't have any adhesive that sticks to your injury. You will need to secure the hydrogel pad with some type of wrap. The hydrogel pad will soak up the weeping from the injury and will get thicker. Expect to replace the pad every day and don't let it dry out onto your injury. Obviously follow the directions but generally you will peel off the blue side of the hydrogel and place the exposed moist surface to your injury. Then secure it with your wrap of choice.

As far as I can tell, this is identical to cvs branded hydrogel burn pads. Better than 2nd skin in my opinion. Helps burns heal faster with no blisters. The best. Make sure to moisten the pads before removal. Otherwise you might hurt your skin.

Soothing and cool!

These are magical! I bought these to have on hand in case of emergency and needed them sooner than anticipated! I burned my wrist pulling sweet potatoes out of the oven (clumsy, I know) and put one of these on. Soothing as can be! I will recommend these to all of my friends!

Great for 2nd degree burn!

I burned my leg on boiling water (an 8 inch burn). After the blisters went away, I applied these bandages every few days and it has really made a difference! It helps my skin stay moist without feeling gloopy!

Helps with burns

This is a great product that helps if you get burned. I recently burned myself getting food out of the oven. I immediately use the burn pad and it gave relief quickly!
